News and events on the cardoncello mushroom in the province of Bari

The typical mushroom of the Murge plateau is one of the gastronomic excellences of the area. At Micotec, a company specialized in the production and sale of substrate for cardoncelli mushrooms in Gravina in Puglia, in the province of Bari, we organize information events and tastings of the cardoncello mushroom: a fun way to involve the whole community towards the discovery and appreciation of this typical product.

Cardoncello on the road

A fundamental ingredient for good cuisine, a typical product of Murge and a source of inspiration for the best chefs, the cardoncello mushroom has always been synonymous with delicacy and excellence. Thanks to the passion and commitment of our Serafino Di Palma of Micotec, and Onofrio Pepe, president of the “Amici del Fungo Cardoncello” Association, a collection of recipes was born: “Cardoncello on the road”. One of the recently organized events was precisely the one dedicated to the presentation of the book, Saturday 16 May at 10.30, c / o the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Gravina in Puglia, in the province of Bari.

"Cardoncello on the road" is dedicated to those who want to find more information on cardoncelli and especially to those who want to know how to cook them best: it is the result of the experience lived by the two founders, who have searched around Italy, the best chefs and their cuisine, characterized by the cardoncello mushroom that gives added value to our land.
